Job Description

Warehouse Associate / Order Puller

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate / Order Puller for a company based in Southwest Houston, Texas. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, operate equipment safely, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Rate & Schedule

Pay Rate: $16-18 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Responsibilities

1. Load and unload trucks; inspect and verify incoming shipments
2. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment
3. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins using company standards
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
5. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers as needed
6. Follow safety procedures and wear safety gear
7. Perform housekeeping duties: sweeping, dusting, mopping, organizing
8. Assist with inventory control and cycle counts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving
• Experience operating forklifts and order pickers
• Knowledge of carbon flanges and fittings is a plus
• Strong work ethic; ability to work independently or in a team
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards
