Job summary

System One is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Hackettstown, NJ for an onsite contract-to-hire position.

You will pick parts for production and customer orders, receive shipments in SAP, and stock inventory while operating forklifts and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. A high school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required, with in-house training offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to complete in-house certification training.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic SAP or inventory system experience is a plus.
• Previous warehouse, retail, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with forklift and pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts and materials for production work orders and customer sales orders.
• Put stock away from purchase order (PO) and work order (WO) receipts into designated bins and bulk storage areas.
• Prepare instrument shipping sets, accessory boxes, and production pre-kits.
• Cut tubing and perform accessory box assembly activities.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with identifying inventory errors.
• Issue materials and perform material transfers within SAP.
• Receive incoming shipments by unloading materials, verifying quantities, and receiving purchase orders in SAP.
• Open boxes, confirm quantities, and properly dispose of packaging materials.
• Assist with packing, shipping, and preparing customer orders, including skid preparation when required.
• Operate forklifts and move palletized materials while following all safety procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, cleaning, and packing goods.
• Occasionally pick up parts from local suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and stockroom organization efforts.
• Assist planners and other team members as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Handle expensive and delicate components with a high degree of care and attention to detail.
