Total Safety is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our safety-conscious team! In this role, you will play a vital part in processing customer orders, which includes receiving inbound shipments, stocking items, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction. The starting hourly pay rate is $18.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and expedite shipments
2. Determine shipment methods based on customer requirements
3. Verify outgoing shipments against documentation
4. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
5. Follow labeling requirements for each customer
6. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
7. Perform other related duties as assigned

Role Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate forklift and cherry picker
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ensure quality control for all outbound orders
• Pass background and drug/alcohol tests

Preferred and Additional Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Clean driving record
• Good time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to interpret packing slips and fill out bills of lading

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and handle objects for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Operate motorized machinery
• Exposure to weather conditions; noise levels are generally minimal
