The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, staging and verifying incoming material, and use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.).
- Load and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner.
- Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered.
- Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure appropriate and accurate time-management.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma/GED required.
- MUST be a team player.
- 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience.
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time.
- Able to operate GPS, an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
- Customer service skills and ability to represent the company in an appropriate manner.
