Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, staging and verifying incoming material, and use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.).
• Load and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered.
• Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure appropriate and accurate time-management.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required.
• MUST be a team player.
• 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time.
• Able to operate GPS, an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
