Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Brisbane, CA location (211 South Hill Dr, Suite G, Brisbane, CA 94005). The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM–2:15 PM, with a pay rate of $21–$24 per hour. Training is provided; candidates must maintain safety and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, inspecting products, entering data, and using a forklift. Prior warehouse and woodworking experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license may be required at some

• Minimum high school education completed or equivalent.
• Basic math and organization skills required for inventory.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse processes.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store inventory, unload shipments and inspect for damage.
• Load products, monitor stock levels and organize the yard.
• Enter receiving data into the company database and report discrepancies.
• Operate a forklift to move and store inventory.
• Contribute to safety and housekeeping in the warehouse.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Associates unload and unpack shipments of custom cabinetry products and hardware, inspect for damage and correct quantities, report damages or shortages, and enter receiving data into our company database. This position will also prepare and organize received stock for inventory, return damaged products to senders, and monitor inventory levels.We will provide paid, on-the-job training to candidates with the right skill set and a great attitude!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and put away inventory
• Load product into trucks
• Sort and organize products
• Inspects inventory for conformance to company standards
• Operate a forklift to help move and store inventory
• Stage products
• Inventory control and management
• Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Basic math and organization skills
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
• Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
