Job summary

California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom-designed residential and commercial storage systems using luxury materials. A successful candidate has experience with hand and power tools, precise measurements, and outstanding customer service for in-home projects.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift, and willingness to travel to job sites. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits and day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with common hand and power tools preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Job Highlight:

• We're located on 5921 Skylab Rd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, USA.
• The schedule for this position is 7am-3:30pm M-Fwith flexibility needed.
• The pay rate for this position is $20-$21/hour.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
