California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems in homes and small offices. You will use CAD drawings, hand and power tools, and work with a small team to deliver premium closets and spaces.

The role offers a four-day work week, hourly pay between $28 and $33, health insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for growth. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools; cabinetry/carpentry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems using CAD drawings.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist with removal and installation of materials at client sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Operate company vehicle and travel to sites.
• Provide high level of customer service during in-home installs.
• Uphold safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team on larger jobs.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

***The pay for this opportunity is $28-$33/hr and comes with a 4 day work week***

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
