Job summary

California Closets Brisbane is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our team in Brisbane, CA. This role focuses on receiving, inventory checks, and coordinating with Epicor specialists to resolve discrepancies. The position operates Monday–Friday with morning shifts and pays $27.00–$30.00 per hour.

You'll ensure safe, accurate handling of goods, participate in daily cycle counts, and maintain strong communication across departments to support the California Closets Brand Experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree related to distribution or warehouse preferred.
• 2–4 years in distribution/warehouse role in construction/home renovations preferred, luxury brand environment.
• Experience in supporting supply chain demands.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes all incoming products in warehouse with PC-based software.
• Checks items against bills of lading and orders for accuracy.
• Unpacks, inspects, and records discrepancies; routes items to proper departments.
• Reorders damaged or mis-shipped materials after quality check.
• Subject matter expert for inventory reconciliation.
• Participates in daily cycle counting and quarterly physical inventories.
• Ensures inventory adjustments are reconciled daily before end of day.
• Moves overstock to primary location and breaks down boxes for recycling.
• Coordinates with Epicor Specialists to resolve PO issues and other discrepancies.
• Keeps supervisor informed of receiving discrepancies.
• Interacts with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Plan Review and others.

The Warehouse Receiver understands and executes receiving tasks with an elevated sense of urgency, is a strong communicator in both verbal and written formats and is technologically savvy. This associate has an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and a keen eye for detail. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives and processes all incoming products into the warehouse and processes using PC based software process.
• Compares identifying information, quality checks and measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, picking tickets, invoices, orders, or other records
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with supervisor to rectify damages or discrepancies. Routes items to proper departments.
• Reorders damaged or mis shipped vendor materials after quality check
• Subject Matter Expert for inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Manager and participates in Daily Cycle Counting process and quarterly full physical inventories.
• Ensures all inventory adjustments are reconciled daily before end of workday.
• Moves overstock to primary location and breaks down boxes for recycling daily or as needed.
• Partners with Epicor Specialists to resolve PO issues, reorders, negative on hands and/or any other inventory discrepancies that arise
• Informs Warehouse or Operations Manager of any receiving discrepancies.
• Knows and communicates with partners across the organization including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Epicor Specialists, Operations, Purchasing, Plan Review

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or GED
• Associates Degree related to from an accredited college or university preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a distribution or warehouse role in construction and/or in the home renovations/improvement industry, preferably within a luxury brand environment
• Experience in supporting supply chain demands
• Ability to calculate invoice and shipping totals as requested
