Description & Requirements

We are in search of a Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. This role will assist in the warehouse by pulling orders, receiving products, putting away product, cutting mats, and maintaining quality customer service and safety at all times. Other facility or warehouse tasks may be assigned. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Pull orders for delivery and process outgoing shipments via other carriers.
• Load delivery trucks.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies, prioritizing safety in all tasks.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and cost savings; communicate these to the manager.
• Assist with warehouse, equipment, and building maintenance as scheduled.
• Help with inventory control, including receiving, shipping, bin location audits, cycle counting, and physical inventory.
• Learn to assemble, test, load, and unload equipment/machines.
• Assist with stock management, including rotation of products.
• Work flexible shifts if needed.
• Attend scheduled meetings punctually and be prepared to work at your designated start time.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of company business-related issues.
• Complete all required HR and OSHA safety training within specified timelines.
• Respond promptly using available communication tools (voicemail, email, etc.).
• Promote a positive attitude, safe work environment, and teamwork.
• Support and embody the company's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED; or 3-6 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to walk, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and sense taste or smell. Occasionally required to stand and sit. Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds, frequently up to 100 pounds with assistance, and occasionally more than 100 pounds with help.

Computer Skills:

Familiarity with computers and scanners preferred.

Tools and Equipment:

Use of forklifts, safety equipment, dollies, ladders, pallet jacks, pull chains, power tools, and maintenance tools.
