Job summary

Glasco is seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and daily paperwork.

You will lift up to 75 lbs, operate forklift/reach truck (license preferred), work day shift Mon–Fri with overtime as needed, and may require relocation to Beltsville, MD or South Windsor, CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Picker & Packer.
• 2 years HVAC experience preferred.
• Driver's license required; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with pickup and delivery schedule of HVAC & plumbing related items.
• Assisting in daily activities of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, and delivery.
• Demonstrating and establishing effective working relationships with co-workers & superiors.
• Properly completing all paperwork required for each job or task: reviewing packing slips, reviewing turned-in job costing sheets, keeping company vehicles clean, and assisting in monthly inventory of equipment and supplies in the warehouse.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service & satisfaction.
• Using forklift and/or reach truck (license preferred).
• Performing all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Remaining flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
• Representing Glasco in a professional manner that conveys confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.

Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 75 lbs., stand, bend, stoop, sit, reach, lift, and travel to locations as necessary.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to be flexible in work schedule (may include some weekends).
• HVAC work experience is a plus.
• 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Picker & Packer (required).
• 2 years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Driver's License required; forklift certification preferred.

Job Type & Pay

Full‑time. Pay range $18–$20 per hour.

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime and weekends as needed.

• In person: South Windsor, CT 06074 (required to relocate).
