Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle for local deliveries.

Warehouse Associate

South Windsor, CT

Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support our team in South Windsor, CT.

This role is responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, ensuring technicians and installers have the materials they need, receiving and staging equipment, and making timely deliveries of parts, equipment, and supplies to jobsites throughout the service area.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming equipment, parts, and materials
• Stage equipment and materials for HVAC installation and service jobs
• Pull and prepare parts and supplies for technicians and installation crews
• Deliver equipment, parts, tools, and materials to active jobsites
• Coordinate with technicians and installers to ensure jobsite deliveries are accurate and timely
• Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels
• Identify low-stock or missing inventory and communicate needs to leadership
• Process returns, defective parts, and warranty items as needed
• Assist technicians and team members with locating parts, equipment, and supplies
• Help ensure trucks and job materials are prepared accurately and on time
• Receive deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders or packing slips
• Maintain proper storage and organization of tools, materials, and equipment
• Assist with general warehouse and facility tasks as needed
• Follow company safety procedures in the warehouse, on the road, and at jobsites

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, delivery, construction, HVAC, or similar experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle and making local jobsite deliveries
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests throughout the day
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills and comfort working with inventory systems
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move HVAC equipment, parts, and materials
• Forklift experience is a plus
• HVAC or home-services industry experience is a plus, but not required
