Burlington Stores in Swedesboro, NJ seeks an Asset Protection Specialist to safeguard people, products and property while supporting accurate, efficient workflows across indoor and outdoor areas. This hands-on role blends security, operations, and data integrity to reduce loss and improve safety.

The position requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, with lift capability up to 50 lbs and routine audits across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (indoor and outdoor conditions).
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect people and assets within the distribution center.
• Monitor building access and verify associates and visitors.
• Conduct bag checks and support badge access processes.
• Maintain key control and enforce security procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Audit and track incoming/outgoing trailers and verify yard operations.
• Enter and maintain logs and reports in company systems.
• Partner with operations and leadership to resolve issues.
