Job summary

B&H Photo Video is seeking an experienced Warehouse Area Manager to lead fulfillment operations, drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost control across teams. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration to support growth and operational goals.

You will develop labor metrics, implement Lean practices, and guide teams toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement, ensuring timely, compliant deliveries and optimal workflow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, logistics, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of management experience in fulfillment operations, logistics or supply chain management in a P&L environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse and fulfillment operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and manage KPIs, labor metrics, and data analytics to optimize performance and drive improvements.
  • Direct and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse objectives with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, floor productivity, and customer service.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse staff to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.

Job description

The Warehouse Area Manager will help to oversee fulfillment departments by implementing practices leading to efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.   • Strong understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in developing analytics and labor metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with cross-functional teams.

Education, Experience and Licenses:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of management experience in fulfillment operations, logistics, or supply chain management in a P&L environment.
