Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Colorado is seeking a Warehouse and Fleet Coordinator to manage branch inventory, purchasing records, and fleet operations. You will work with branch management to optimize stock and coordinate deliveries, while handling data entry and basic repairs.

This role includes maintaining vendor relationships and supporting drivers. You will participate in audits, provide timely reports, and operate a forklift when certified, ensuring accurate records and efficient warehouse

Qualificações

• Basic mechanic skills and ability to perform maintenance.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory and reorder up to pre-authorized limit.
• Analyze inventory reports to identify items for automatic delivery.
• Provide inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control managers.
• Develop relationships with vendors.
• Maintain daily records of goods received and shipments.
• Manage inventory system and upgrades under supervision.
• Conduct spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assist with annual physical inventory audits.
• Operate a forklift when certified.
• Coordinate fleet procurement, maintenance, and repurposing.
• Coordinate with insurance specialists for fleet damages.
• Enter monthly fleet expenses.
• Assist drivers with vehicle needs 24/7.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Warehouse and Fleet Coordinator will maintain the branch’s inventory, purchase records, ordering and delivery. In addition, they will work with branch management on fleet operations including reporting, maintaining spreadsheets, minor maintenance and non-routine repairs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
• Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provide inventory reports to the purchasing and inventory control manager(s).
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
• Maintain accurate, daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manage and maintain inventory system; facilitate upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assist with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Operate a forklift when necessary (with proper certification).
• Work with the fleet management team to procure, maintain and repurpose fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate with the insurance specialist(s) to take care of fleet damages.
• All data entry of monthly fleet expenses.
• Available to assist drivers with vehicle needs 24/7.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Basic mechanic skills, ability to perform maintenance and non-routine repairs.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred, but not required.
• Forklift operator certification preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Other Duties:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Compensation:

• $20.00 - $25.00 hourly DOE
