Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and MVR approval required.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.

Our Grand Rapids Slumberland location is looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associateto support daily operations and provide excellent service to our customers. This position works closely with the Store Manager and plays an important role in ensuring a positive customer experience.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse & Delivery team member, you will assist with furniture deliveries, warehouse organization, and store maintenance. This role involves helping transport products to customer homes, supporting safe vehicle operation, and maintaining an organized warehouse and showroom environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with product deliveries and customer setup
• Conducting routine delivery vehicle inspections and documenting mileage and fluid levels
• Receiving, moving, and storing merchandise safely throughout the facility
• Operating manual and powered material-handling equipment according to safety standards
• Helping maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse, showroom, and property
• Providing professional and courteous customer service during deliveries

Schedule

This part-time position is expected to average 16-24 hours per week, typically spread across three to four days weekly. Hours may vary depending on store and business needs.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should possess:

• A valid driver's license and MVR approval from our insurance company
• Ability to meet insurance requirements for operating company vehicles
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 75+ pounds on a regular basis
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous warehouse, moving, or delivery experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to complete pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis testing as required under Minnesota DOT regulations
