Job summary

Slumberland in Eveleth, MN is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associate to support deliveries to customer locations and ensure safe operation of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and mileage tracking. You will move materials from receiving to showroom, handle loads with care, and assist with warehouse and showroom upkeep.

This role requires a valid driver's license, pre-employment drug testing, ability to lift 75+ pounds, and DOT medical certification to operate the truck.

Qualifications

• Requires driving the store truck, pre-employment drug testing including cannabis.
• Frequent heavy lifting (75+ pounds) and safe handling of loads.
• DOT Medical Examiner Certificate required to operate the store truck.
• Warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer locations and ensure safe operation of the delivery truck.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and track mileage and fluids.
• Move materials from receiving to showroom and other designated areas.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance and showroom presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service on deliveries.

Our Slumberland store in Eveleth, MN is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associate.

The Role of the Warehouse & Delivery Associate:

As a Warehouse & Delivery Associate you would assist with deliveries to customer locations and safe operations of the delivery truck, to include daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage. You would move materials from the receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom, ensuring proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety. In this position you would also assist with building and grounds maintenance. You are an important member of the team as we put our best foot forward through the display of our showroom, our warehouse, and offering exceptional customer service on deliveries!

We work to be as flexible as possible with scheduling, but there are weekends and peak sales holidays we ask our employees be ready to work!

What we offer:

Our compensation package goes above and beyond the hourly wage for this position. The pay range for this position is $16 - $16.50 per hour.
