Job summary

Slumberland Bemidji, MN is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate to help customers find their dream furniture solutions and to support showroom and warehouse operations. This role reports directly to the Bemidji Slumberland Manager and requires driving a delivery truck.

You will assist with deliveries, conduct safe vehicle inspections, move materials between receiving areas and showroom, and operate lifts and power equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid and insurable driver's license required.
• Pre-employment drug testing including cannabis.
• Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds frequently.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Warehouse or delivery experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deliveries to customer locations and ensure safe operation of the delivery truck.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and track fluids and mileage.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas including the showroom.
• Operate manual lifts and power equipment safely.
• Support building and grounds maintenance and showroom presentation.

Our Slumberland location in Bemidji, MN is currently hiring Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associates to help our customers find their dream furniture solutions. This position reports directly to the Bemidji Slumberland Manager.

The Role of the Warehouse/Delivery Associate:

As a Warehouse/Delivery associate you would assist with deliveries to customer locations and safe operations of the delivery truck, to include daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage. This position requires driving our delivery truck. You would move materials from the receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom, ensuring proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety. In this position you will be able to assist in building and grounds maintenance. You are an important member of the team as we put our best foot forward through the display of our showroom, our warehouse, and offering exceptional customer service on deliveries!

Qualifications for a Successful Warehouse/Delivery Associate:

Valid and insurable driver's license for drivers is required. Pre-employment drug testing required. Screening includes cannabis, due to state and federal laws. Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds frequently. High school diploma/GED preferred. Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.

This position is likely to be scheduled Thursday - Sunday working around 25-29 hours per week. This may change in accordance with business needs.
