WAREHOUSE ANALYST (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Warehouse Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will The Warehouse Analyst position is an excellent opportunity for someone with some business experience or a recent college grad looking to join a great company with the ability to learn, grow and develop within the Supply Chain Organization.

The Warehouse Analyst must effectively analyze business requirements and develop a warehousing & logistics plan that balances service and cost. The individual must show a high level of competence in decision making, risk management and cost analysis. The Analyst must work cross functionally to develop, monitor and communicate a warehousing and logistics plan that supports 100% customer service at the lowest possible cost. This position will be responsible for monitoring order volume and troubleshooting order issues along with daily management of inbound and outbound transportation. The Analyst will establish a strong relationship with 3PL warehouses and support the organization’s sales team daily .

As a member of the Finance and Operations team, you will collaborate with internal team as well as cross functionally and report directly to Director of Sourcing.

HYBRID: This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement and is open to candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work at Culver City, CA 90230. The role requires working in PST hours, so candidates located on the West Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.

What You’ll Do:

Essential Job Functions

  • Facilitate communication between internal sales teams and the warehouse to ensure flawless execution.
  • A primary point of contact with the warehouse for order requirements.
  • Ensure orders are received and shipped within the order processing SLA.
  • Proactively communicate order issues and provide resolution options.
  • Make certain that orders leaving 3PL warehouses meet customer specifications.
  • Collaboration with 3PL warehouse transportation team to book all inbound shipments from vendors and outbound shipments to customers
  • Support the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process by partnering with various departments to ensure all logistics and warehousing requirements are met for the efficient launch of products in new markets, product promotions, new product introductions and deletions as well as sales of inline product.
  • KPI’s – Report and maintain warehouse/logistics, supplier and customer service metrics. Establish and devise action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with 3PL warehouses to develop, negotiate, and ensure the best service for the lowest cost.
  • Manage return processing and VAS (value-added service) activities.
  • Maintain data integrity in the ERP system and with 3PL warehouses.
  • Setup new item information and maintain data integrity in ERP system and with 3PL warehouses.
  • Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics & warehousing processes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree: 1-5 years of experience with preference in Supply Chain Management
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop an end-to-end supply chain perspective to identify and address issues.
  • Problem-solving capabilities will be critical for success in the role.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally. Must be willing to work as a team and develop relationships with stakeholders
  • Exceptional skills in Excel
  • Prior experience or general knowledge of the consumer goods industry (Direct Sales, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics)
  • Prior experience working in ERP systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, twist, and squat to adjust or position equipment, cameras, or set up for events.
  • Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Must be able to focus on detailed work for extended periods, which may lead to eye strain or fatigue.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, including typing and using a mouse.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often time-sensitive environment.
