The NC Department of Adult Correction seeks a Correctional Facility Superintendent II (NS) for Franklin Correctional Center in Franklin County, NC. You will oversee daily operations of a medium custody facility, including custody, food service, HR, and maintenance, directing staff and offender management to meet safety and rehabilitation goals.
Starting at a senior level, you will set priorities, shape internal policies, hire and train personnel, and supervise up to 480 male offenders.

This position is located at Franklin Correctional Center (Franklin CC) located in Bunn, NC, Franklin County. Franklin CC has the Correction Enterprises Sign plant.
Salary Grade Range: $67,122.00 - $117,465.00. The Agency has standardized Warden salaries. Selected applicant starting salary at this location will be $107,500.00. 60070608 Is An Anticipated Vacancy. This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126). Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Division of Institutions manages the daily operations of all state-operated prison facilities across North Carolina. Facilities are categorized by custody levels (minimum, medium, close) and house individuals serving sentences for felony convictions.
