Walser Automotive Group is seeking an Auto Glass / Recalibration Technician Apprentice to join our Collision & Glass team in Bloomington, MN. You will learn to install and repair auto glass, assist experienced technicians, and support job site logistics.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be comfortable working with others.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in extreme conditions.
• Must be able to kneel, bend, and reach above the shoulders.
• Must be able to lift 10–60 lbs.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install and repair auto glass.
• Assist Auto Glass Technicians with 2 person sets.
• Pickup and delivery of glass and parts from wholesalers/dealerships to job site.
• Shuttle vehicles to and from customer location to Body Shop/Dealership in bad weather.
• Other duties to support installation and repair of glass.
• Operate all equipment in Collision Center safely.
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner.

Compensation:$20.00-$25.00/hr What You’ll Do:

• Auto Glass Technician Apprentice will learn to install and repair auto glass
• Assist Auto Glass Technicians with 2 person sets
• Pickup and Delivery of glass and parts from wholesaler/dealerships to job site
• Shuttle vehicles to and from customer location to Body Shop/Dealership in bad weather
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor that will free up Auto Glass Technicians to install and repair more glass
• Operate all equipment in Collision Center in a safe manner
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
