Job summary

Mysten Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineers building wallet and DeFi experiences for the Sui ecosystem. This role oversees Slush wallet across web, extension, iOS, and Android, shaping how users discover and execute onchain actions.

You will own team health and engineering outcomes for an asset-sensitive product, partnering across product, design, security, protocol, and ecosystem teams to set direction and ship dependable experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software engineers in high-ownership environments.
• Direct experience shipping production blockchain wallet functionality.
• Understanding self-custody, private-key security and signing.
• Hands-on DeFi knowledge: liquidity, routing, slippage, staking.
• Strong systems judgment across client apps and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and retain a team of engineers across wallets and services.
• Set technical direction for account creation, key management, and onchain interactions.
• Define ownership across web, extensions, iOS, Android, and backend services.
• Raise standards for architecture, testing, observability, and incident response.
• Partner with product and design to simplify onchain workflows with transparent outcomes.
• Collaborate with security and protocol teams to evaluate threats and dependencies.
