Job summary

Mysten Labs is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to own health and delivery for a wallet product. You will lead engineers across wallet clients, onchain integrations, and supporting services, shaping architecture and release safety.

You will partner with product, design, security, and ecosystem teams, raise standards, and ensure usability without compromising asset security. Experience shipping production blockchain wallet functionality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and developing software engineers in a high-ownership product environment.
• Direct experience shipping production blockchain wallet functionality and self-custody.
• Hands-on DeFi fluency with on-chain products and liquidity concepts.
• Strong systems judgment across client applications, backend services, APIs or SDKs.
• Ability to partner with product, design, security and senior technical leaders while maintaining engineering accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and retain a team of engineers across wallet clients and onchain integrations.
• Set technical direction with senior engineers for account creation, recovery, key management, signing, and transaction construction.
• Raise standards for architecture, testing, release safety, observability, incident response, and post-incident learning.
