Job summary

Versa Designed Surfaces in New Albany, IN is seeking a Machine Assist to support the press operator in printing/laminating wallcovering. You will perform setup, cleanup, roll changes, and quality production while maintaining production records.

The role requires basic math, ability to read instructions, and ERP basics; lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted. This is a full-time on-site position with safety requirements and opportunities for attendance/retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Educational equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year high school preferred.
• Must be able to understand and implement oral and written instructions.
• Must be capable of maintaining accurate written records.
• Must have basic computer/ERP skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the press operator and perform setup, clean down, and roll changes.
• Maintain accurate production records and assist inspector.
• Operate printing, laminating, and ink mixing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleanup.
• Interpret production documents and ensure proper material staging.
