Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Wall Panel Designer to create design illustrations from blueprints for fabrication and production. You will finalize designs, review drawings, and ensure standards are met while coordinating with production teams and customers to keep projects accurate and on schedule.

The role requires experience designing residential and commercial wall panels, blueprints literacy, and proficiency with MiTek or equivalent software, with strong attention to detail and effective

Qualifications

• Experience designing residential and commercial wall panels.
• General computer knowledge.
• Read and comprehend blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Efficient and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of standard construction practices, codes and carpentry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Communicates effectively with team members.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Create design illustrations from blueprints to produce working drawings for fabrication.
• Complete and finalize designs for production and assembly.
• Evaluate designs to ensure design standards are met.
• Communicate with production teams, customers and Store Managers to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process.
