Job summary

Upper Valley Waldorf School in Vermont seeks a School Administrator to provide school-wide leadership, support faculty initiatives, and guide daily operations in alignment with the mission and Waldorf principles.

The role collaborates with families, the Leadership Council, and the Board to implement strategic goals, manage finances, personnel, and facilities, and foster community engagement. Bachelor's degree required; Waldorf training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in administrative, managerial, or teaching roles in a school organization.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Completion of Waldorf training or willingness to learn Waldorf education principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-wide leadership and support faculty initiatives and programs.
• Collaborate with families and groups to integrate the mission and vision with daily operations.
• Serve as the link between the school, the Board of Trustees, and external agencies.
• Oversee budgeting, personnel administration, facility management, and policy implementation.
