Job description

Our Vermont Waldorf school is seeking a grades class teacher to join our team of educators who represent a rich spectrum of life experiences and a passion for artistic teaching.

With three other Waldorf schools within a two-hour drive and access to the New England Waldorf Teachers Training Program in Keene, NH, there are many opportunities for continuing education, conferences, and other events.

The Upper Valley Waldorf School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade school with a current enrollment of 169 for the 2026-2027 school year. We offer a rich Waldorf curriculum, which includes French, woodwork, handwork, movement, instrumental music, and chorus. Our school holds a dual accreditation with AWSNA/NEASC, and we completed a successful capital campaign in 2018 resulting in a new wing that provided new classrooms for students in grades 5-8, a library, and office and meeting spaces. Our well-established administrative team ensures smooth operations, allowing you to focus on nurturing creativity and delivering a Waldorf imbued education.

Salary: Base $54,753.87 plus applicable experience.
