Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork (WSRF) seeks an experienced Business Administrator to steward the school’s financial resources and operations as part of the senior leadership team. The role blends strategic financial leadership with operational rigor to ensure sustainable Waldorf education.

The ideal candidate will have nonprofit or school finance leadership experience, strong budgeting and internal controls skills, and a track record of managing remote accounting functions and payroll

Qualifications

• Substantial nonprofit, school, or similarly complex financial/operational leadership experience.
• Budgets, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Translate school priorities into sustainable budgets, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Oversee monthly financials and annual budget planning.
• Supervise a remote bookkeeper and coordinate with the CPA for tax filing and annual review.
• Oversee general ledger, close process, and tax filings with strong internal controls.
• Manage payroll, benefits, personnel records, vendor management, and operational risk.
