Job summary

Walden Behavioral Care, LLC seeks an Inpatient/Residential Therapist in Dedham, MA. This per diem role provides direct clinical social work and case management under the Clinical Director, covering as needed.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, plus 2 years of direct clinical mental health care experience and CPR certification. Licensure or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting.
• Licensure: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, preferred or license-eligible; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work and case management per Walden policies.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Manage cases on inpatient eating disorder and psychiatric units.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison with referral sources.
• Ensure required documentation is completed timely and professionally.
• Collaborate with treatment team and Walden continuum of care.
• May support virtual patient care and telehealth as needed.

TheInpatient Therapist provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Director.

This is a Per Diem position for coverage as needed.

Pay: $32.20-$52.00/hour depending on education and experience

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide clinical social work and case management consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for assigned cases
• Manage cases on both the inpatient eating disorder unit and inpatient psychiatric unit.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
• Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and profession manner.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum.
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting

Licensure/Certification:

• LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, preferred or license-eligible
• CPR certification, required

Knowledge:

• Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships, age specific growth and development, behavior management and crisis management
