Job summary

Providence Oyster Bar - East Greenwich is looking for new team members to join the waitstaff as servers. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals in a busy East Greenwich setting, helping ensure a positive dining experience.

Candidates should provide excellent customer service and be knowledgeable about our menu and allergy considerations. Alcohol service requires RI compliance and applicants must be 18 or older; benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must provide exceptional customer service and communicate menus clearly.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and allergen information.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain station cleanliness.
• Alcohol service certification (Tips/ServSafe) preferred; 18+ to serve.

The Providence Oyster Bar located in East Greenwich is looking for new team members!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure customer orders are taken, prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Be knowledgeable food and beverage offerings.
• Be aware of special requests and food allergies. Ensure necessary information is communicated to the Kitchen team.
• Keep the server stations and restaurant common areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be Tips and/or ServSafe Alcohol certified.
• Uphold the company's policies and procedures including guidelines relating to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Please note, to serve alcohol in the state of Rhode Island, the server/bartender must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• All other assigned duties.
