Job summary

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group in the tri-state area is seeking seasonal event staff to join our diverse team as front-of-house servers for weddings and events. You will help with setup, serving guests, and attending to needs throughout cocktail and dinner service.

Shifts are long, typically 10 hours, with pay ranging from $150 to $200 per shift and occasional tips. Venues include Wilmington, DE and Kennett Square, PA, and availability through the wedding season is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive to JAM venues in DE & PA.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Able to stand for a 9-hour shift with breaks.
• Seasonal availability through wedding season.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking equipment from truck and setting up tables and chairs.
• Serving guests by butlering and bussing during cocktail hour and dinner.
• Attending to guests’ needs and providing hospitality.
• Cleanup, breakdown, and packing of equipment after events.

Although it’s not guaranteed, you’ll often receive cash tips from the client at the end of a shift.
