Dolly Parton's Stampede in Pigeon Forge, TN is seeking an Arena Department Manager to supervise 50–75 employees and ensure exceptional guest service and safety across all departments. You will work with operations, kitchen, and sales teams to deliver a top-tier entertainment experience.

The role requires coordinating budget variances, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining ethical, professional standards within the arena team.

  • Provide consistently excellent customer service and safe-quality food/beverages for all guests.
  • Develop, control, and secure approval of variances from the Arena budget with leadership.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Kitchen, On Site Sales, Production and Merchandise to ensure quality entertainment experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company customer service and safety procedures.

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Directly supervises 50-75 employees in the Arena department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems and conflicts.

Provide consistently excellent customer service, safe-quality food and beverages to all customers.

Develop, control, and receive approval on all variations from budget from Director of Operations and General Manager of annual Arena department budgets.

Coordinate with all Operations, Kitchen, On Site Sales, Production, and Merchandise departments to ensure a consistently high quality entertainment experience for all customers.

Ensure compliance among all Arena department employees of all company customer service and safety procedures.

Maintain an ethical environment among employees that is always beyond reproach.

Develop, implement and maintain an effective departmental facilities and equipment maintenance program that protects the assets of the company.

As a member of the DS-TN management team, make recommendations to the development of company policies, long range planning, employee programs, and safety procedures for the facility.

Must work at a rapid pace.

Must help in other departments/areas as requested by management.

Must get along well with fellow employees and maintain a professional business relationship at all times.

Must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance at the job.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Language Skills to include the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Educational Requirements to include two year certificate from college or technical school, or three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Serv Safe – Must become Serv Safe certified within 60 days of assuming the position.
