Job summary

The Bristal is seeking professional, customer service oriented Waitstaff to service meals to Residents of our luxury Independent Living Community. The successful candidates will have a positive attitude, the ability to provide excellent customer service and work in an upbeat and cooperative manner with fellow employees.

Casual evening shifts available. Responsibilities include taking resident meal orders, checking station tables for settings and cleanliness, reading the menu to assist residents,

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a restaurant or food service industry.
• Able to function in a fast paced environment.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Good communication, customer service and people skills.
• Patient and able to deal with a demanding customer base.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred, but not required.
• A team player, willing to help out where needed to ensure a pleasurable dining experience for Residents.
• Familiarity with food safety and health guidelines a plus.
• Speak audibly and politely at all times.
