Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in alignment with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The nurse will manage patient care for an assigned group, ensuring quality, collaboration, and adherence to hospital policies while embracing the values of teamwork and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and GA Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients in line with the hospital's philosophy and policies.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure coordination, communication and empowerment of patients.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
