Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta seeks aRegistered Nurse for the night shift to deliver compassionate patient care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team.

You will plan and provide nursing care per physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ensuring safety and quality. Must hold GA RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Shift is 7p-7a; weekends are not required; position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
