Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

You will manage patient care for an assigned group, collaborating with the care team to uphold the hospital values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment; the role includes 7p-7a shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
