Unidine is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time WAITER / WAITRESS positions.

• Location: MRC Mirador - 5857 Timbergate Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78414. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Shifts include: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1 year of serving experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate food and drink pairings when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Address complaints or issues promptly; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service; keep area clean and meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea / soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with staff of other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
