Job Details

• Location: Franklin Court Assisted Living - 180 Franklin Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days and hours may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Open availability preferred. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior serving experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate requests and note preferences; knowledge of specialized diets and allergens is a plus.
4. Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills; be flexible and patient with guests and staff.
6. Handle tickets and follow proper cash procedures.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address complaints promptly; relay issues to supervisor.
10. Ensure dining area setup and cleanliness before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
11. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
12. Collaborate with other departments during special events.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
