WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Details

• Location: LifeQuest - 2450 John Fries Highway, Quakertown, PA 18951
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; Monday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No previous experience required.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up on guest needs or requests.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences; be knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and allergens.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff; remain flexible and patient.
• Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment.
• Respect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Address complaints promptly; relay issues to supervisor.
• Set up and clean dining area before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
