• We are hiring immediately for full-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.
• Location: Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital - 701 Sixth Street South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedules. 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (12-hour shifts), 3.5 days per week, including rotating weekends and some holidays; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Hospitality, restaurant, or patient/customer experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items efficiently to guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly; maintain safety and sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
• Understand menu items; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff; remain flexible and patient.
• Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Respect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Address complaints promptly; report issues to supervisor.
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after service.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, phones, and coffee machines.
• Assist during special events and perform other duties as assigned.
