Job summary

Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, OK is seeking a friendly Wait Staff member to provide dining services to residents and staff. The shifts run 10:00am–3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with weekend and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Physical capability to lift, move, push, pull & transfer up to 50 lbs.
• Courteous and patient with residents, guests, and employees.
• Able to carry food and beverages to tables.
• Able to operate coffee urns and vacuum cleaner.
• Follow infection control, OSHA regulations, and Risk Management policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining services to residents and employees.
• Set tables and keep dining area clean and stocked.
• Interact with residents and offer assistance as needed.
• Assist with serving meals during scheduled shifts.
• Follow all retirement center and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Title: Wait Staff

Department: Dietary

Essential Employee Position: Must be willing to workweekends, Holidays, and during inclementweather.

Pay Rate: $12.00 hourly

Hours: 10:00am- 3:00pm, Saturday & Sunday

Summary:

Responsible for providing dining services to residents and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move,push, pull & transfer 50lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
• Must be courteous and patient with all residents, guests, and employees eating in the dining room.
• Able to carry food and beverages to tables.
• Able to carry soiled dishware to dish room.
• Keep tables reset, clean, and stocked.
• Able to operate coffee urns.
• Able to operate a vacuum cleaner.
• Keep dining area floors clean.
• Check Cleaning Schedule as posted.
• Interact with residents and offer assistance as needed.
• Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Risk Management.
• Follow all retirement center and departmental policies and procedures.
• Stay overtime in case of emergency.
• Complete all tasks according to assignments on Row Sheets.
