Job summary

Bally's Shreveport is seeking a Guest Services/Cage Clerk to support wagering activities, process cash transactions, and assist guests with self-betting terminals. The role requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and excellent guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

The incumbent will balance drawers, maintain a neat workstation, and comply with Bank Secrecy Act regulations while representing Bally's Shreveport with professionalism. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; five years related experience.
Must know and comply with Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act for credit/cage transactions.
Basic computer skills including casino systems and MS Word/Excel.
Louisiana Gaming Commission work permit required.
Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Creates wagering tickets and cashes tickets for guests.
Collects money from guests for wagers and makes correct change.
Assists guests with questions regarding wagering and how to use self-betting terminals.
Verifies and balances drawer funds at the start and end of shift; safeguards funds.
Maintains assigned window in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
Provides superior guest service to all guests.
Removes, records, and turns in cash in register at end of shift with paperwork.
Ensures compliance with currency transaction reporting requirements.
Represents Bally's Shreveport positively with guests, coworkers, and vendors.
