Job summary

Lawyers for Justice in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to support state and federal wage-and-hour, class, and representative actions. You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and assist with depositions under senior attorney guidance.

The ideal candidate is admitted in Minnesota (or pending admission) with 1–3 years of civil litigation experience and a willingness to travel. Excellent organization and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or pending admission.
1-3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, court appearances, motions, and depositions.
Experience with class actions, complex litigation, wage-and-hour cases is a plus.
Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research; draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Assist with deposition preparation and attendance; prepare for and appear at court hearings.
Communicate with clients under the guidance of senior attorneys; support wage-and-hour and representative actions.
