Job summary

Aerotek in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Cleanroom Machine Operator to operate automated equipment for silicon wafer processing in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will follow procedures, document results, and ensure wafers meet customer specifications while wearing PPE such as hooded gowns, gloves, and safety glasses.

The role requires bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong attention to safety. You will work 12-hour shifts on a compressed schedule with day and night rotation; night

Qualifications

• Experience in cleanroom manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook for data entry and communication.
• Ability to read and follow complex procedures with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated equipment and machinery for silicon wafer processing.
• Follow procedures and complete documentation accurately.
• Ensure wafers meet customer requirements and quality specs.
• Cross-train and become certified in multiple process areas.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work with hazardous chemicals and maintain safety protocols.
• Monitor data and troubleshoot tool alarms and robotic equipment.
• Load materials, verify lot numbers and recipes, and inspect wafers.
