Job summary

A leading technology firm in San Jose, California is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for their wafer manufacturing production line in a class 100 cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. You'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively within the team. Flexibility for shift work and overtime is required. Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Wafer Fab Metrology Equipment covering Photo, Thin-films, Plating, Etch, and CMP areas.
• Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of control systems and/or PLC (Process Logic Control).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule and MMM procedures for assigned tool set.
• Troubleshoot and repair routine unscheduled failures to root cause.
• Document maintenance on PM checklists and maintain completed checklist/history in tool logbook.
