Job summary

Arizona State University’s Advanced Electronics and Photonics Core Facility seeks an equipment engineer to focus on repair and augmentation of wet processing tools including electroplating, photolithography, wet etching, lamination, and panelization equipment. You will support installation, repairs, and maintenance on f300mm wafer packaging toolsets and other core equipment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will maintain wafer prep areas, respond to production issues, and identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years' relevant experience; or equivalent combination.
• Experience with maintenance of wafer processing equipment and related tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and cross-disciplinary collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on AEP Core equipment.
• Repair down equipment and support installations of new systems.
• Procure, scope, and install future equipment into the Core.
• Cross-train to provide backup across areas and write repair procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff and customers; manage shifting priorities.
