Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Wafer Fab Equipment Engineer/Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will support photolithography, metrology tools, and deposition/diffusion systems to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality production.

The role requires hands-on electrical and vacuum troubleshooting, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or with a team across departments. Prior factory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a factory setting.
• Hands-on electrical, analog/digital, mechanical, and vacuum troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Clear cross-department communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of wafer fabrication equipment (photolithography, spin coaters, metrology tools, wet benches, diffusion and deposition systems).
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
• Maintain thorough records/logs of maintenance activities.
