Job summary

Arizona State University in Mesa is seeking an Equipment Automation Engineer to connect the Advanced Electronics and Photonics Core Facility with MES software and implement adaptive patterning for reliable wafer processing.

The candidate will configure servers, networks, and storage, integrate SPC data, and collaborate with device physics, deposition, etching, and testing teams. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years MES experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of engineering or related experience including MES incorporation.
  • Equivalent combination of experience/training that provides comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement adaptive patterning process software.
  • Implement MES software with existing and future equipment and integrate SPC data collection.
  • Recommend and assist in procurement and installation of future Core equipment and upgrades.
  • Cross-train in other areas to provide backup and assistance.
  • Write procedures for safe operation of equipment, MES, and automation systems.
  • Communicate clearly to perform essential duties and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with device physics, deposition, etching, photolithography, packaging, and electrical test teams.
