Staff Perm in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Wafer Fabrication Technician to support semiconductor wafer fabrication in a state-of-the-art cleanroom. You will operate production equipment, monitor processes, and ensure tight quality standards on 200mm wafers.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Schedule is 8AM-5PM with benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life, disability and telehealth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, or technical production experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/sit per shift.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Process 200mm wafers through Lithography, Deposition, and Etch steps.
• Operate and monitor production equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Use metrology equipment and analyze data to assure product quality.
• Maintain detailed production records, SPC charts, and logs.
• Work in an ISO Class 4 cleanroom following 5S practices.
• Follow procedures and safely handle chemicals as required.
• Coordinate and schedule WIP to support priorities.
• Inspect products and disposition nonconforming material.
• Support senior technicians and engineers in operations.
