Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build, repair and test multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts are available and inspected for defects, while documenting progress and results.

The role emphasizes precision, process improvement, and adherence to safety standards as you support high-end manufacturing for semiconductor technology.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly and test work in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and instructions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists to build, repair and test assemblies.
• Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs and conducts audits for part availability and defects.
• Identifies and corrects errors and maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Enters data on computer terminal and supports process documentation.
• May perform programming, repair or software-related details finished work.
