Job summary

JST Manufacturing in Meridian, Idaho, seeks a Process Engineer to lead semiconductor wafer processing, development, and equipment qualification in our Applications Lab and at customer sites. You will analyze data, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize wet processing and cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities include conducting experiments, documenting results, and presenting recommendations to JST management and customers.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a technical field (Chem Eng, Materials Sci, Chemistry)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data
• Ability to conduct experiments, collect data, and document findings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present clearly
• Willingness to travel 25–50%, including possible international trips
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor processing equipment and chemicals is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate wet processing and precision cleaning equipment in lab and at customer sites.
• Conduct wafer processing experiments to support process development and qualification.
• Develop, execute, and document experiments to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Analyze process and metrology data, including contamination and surface quality.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to JST management and customers.
• Travel 25–50% to customer sites for qualification and support.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
